Welcome on our site - The Peruvian Hairless Dog
The dog is originally from Peru and is called there the Perro Sin Pelo del Peru or
Peruvian Inca Orchid Moonflower Dog. The dog was bred about 3000 years ago
by the Inca's. The name Inca Orchid is from the orchid bushes under which the
dog got protected from the sun by the Inca's, they took the dog outside only in
the moonlight.
A unique breed, naked, thin and elegant. They have a natural hunting drive,
are very intelligent, alert, reserved to strangers but affectionate to their
owners.
We are the owners of 2 peruvians hairless dogs, 1 chinese crested dog,
2 sphynxes and live in a Recreation Area in Spaarnwoude in the Netherlands,
a wonderful area for us and our animals.
This year we had a wonderful litter of 4 puppies, born 24th january, see our
